This single storey traditional old cottage is set on the coast road half a mile from Fanad Lighthouse. The views from recently extended sun room provide you with a panorama of Tory island and the rolling hills around. Some of the best beaches in Ireland are on your doorstep and due to their safe aspect, a surf school and many diving schools provide scuba or surfing lessons in the vicinity. The cottage is just a slight steep walk from a secluded, sandy cove which is guaranteed to be one of the most amazing beaches you have ever seen. The area is renowned for fishing, walking and the famous beach at Portsalon is just a 15 minute drive away. Glenveagh Country Park is equidistant to this and this spectacular park should be top of any holidaymaker's itinerary.
The local pubs are thriving and one is conveniently located a third of a mile from the cottage. Thankfully it's downhill on the way home!

Accommodation:
This traditional single storey cottage has recently been renovated to a very high standard with new tiled floors, kitchen and bathroom with large power shower. A traditional half stable door ensures the outside is incoporated inside ensuring those views are always in sight.
Decor is of the highest of standards providing a home from home for even the most trendy of city dwellers.
Directions:
Approximately 2 hours 30 mins from Belfast Airport. Follow the signs to Londonderry then continue on the Buncrana Road to Letterkenny. Turn right at the roundabout to Rathmelton then follow the signs to Milford and then to Portsalon and Fanad Head, When you come to a T junction turn left to the lighthouse and continue up that road for 2.4 miles - the cottage is on the right with a sign on the gate 'Neds Cottage'.
What's included:
Oil fired central heating which is included in the price. Open fire with logs provided. Although pets are welcome, accommodation for them has been provided outside as the owner is allergic. All bed linen is provided in the letting rate.
