The cottage is situated in Inver and the townsland called Drumduff. It is in a very quiet spot but walking distance from Inver and Frosses villages, where you can experience the traditional Irish way of life. From the cottage there are views of the sea, hills and countryside. It is in a quiet rural location but is only 1km from the main Donegal - Killybegs road.
The area offers some of the best fishing in Ireland, horseriding and pony trekking, golf, pleasure boats, scuba diving and more. There are beautiful drives - take the car from Killybegs, Ireland's biggest fishing port, to Glencolumkille and marvel at stunningly beautiful coastal mountain scenery. Or you can set off from nearby Carrick for the amazing drive to Sliabh League, the highest sea cliff in Europe.
The area has an abundance of lakes and rivers for the angler, and sea fishing is on offer at Donegal Town, Mountcharles or Killybegs. Hillwalkers will be kept happy by the multitude of trails through beautiful scenery. You can go scuba diving at St John's Point and try horseriding or pony trekking at Bruckless.
Wonderful sea views surround the property and there is a private garden where you can have a barbeque. Kids will love the play area and the cottage has ample parking for your convenience.

Accommodation:
This modern cottage is all on the same level with hardwood flooring throughout. All fixtures and furnishings are brand new and up to a very high standard.
The living room is large - 19' x 13' - and has a TV, DVD, video and deep, comfortable seating for 6 people. The large kitchen / dinette, 19'6'' x 13'9'', has a dining table with seating for 8, making it perfect for entertaining. It is well equipped with electric cooker and hob, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer.
Bedroom one, 13' x 12'6'', offers en-suite facilities in spacious surroundings and has a comfortable king-size bed. Bedroom two has twin beds and is almost as big at 13' x 10'6''. A third bedroom, 10'6'' x 10'6'', with double bed, completes the layout. All the bedrooms have a TV allowing every member of the family to enjoy their own private space. There is also a family bathroom with shower & W.C.
There are ironing facilities, and bed linen and towels are provided.
Oil central heating and open solid fuel fire keep the property warm, and Satellite TV keeps you in the game!
Directions:
From Donegal Town take the N56 towards Killybegs.
Pass Mountcharles on the left.
Pass the large Toyota garage on the left.
Pass The Milltown Bar/ Pub on the left. (Petrol pumps outside). SLOW DOWN. Very shortly after The Milltown Bar (200 Mtrs) turn 1st right at the sign for Drumduff (This sign might be removed at the moment due to roadworks).
The cottage is approx 1 km from the main road, on the left hand side.
What's included:
Heating is by oil central heating which is included in the price.
Electricity is also included in the price. There is a real open fire which burns coal, turf and wood all of which can be bought locally. Sorry, no pets. Bed linen & towels are included in the price

Rentals are generally Saturday - Saturday. Guests are asked to vacate the cottage by 10.30am and new guests are invited from 3pm. Short 2 night breaks are available. Discounts will be given to small parties or for more than 1 week's rental.
