Cork is famous for its stunning scenery, beautiful sandy beaches, a wild and rugged landscape, traditional market towns and fishing villages - the villages of west Cork have escaped the commercialism of other parts of Ireland. It is a food-lovers paradise: small gourmet cafes, farmers' markets and world class restaurants - of course the seafood is superb too.
Trag Retreat is located 1 mile from the safe and secluded sandy beach of Tragumna. Tragumna is a sleepy village adjacent to the beach with a sociable pub which has live music every Saturday night. Walking and cycling are popular in the area - and the cottage supplies two bicycles; watersports abound too The birdlife and flora are also amazing in this part of Cork.
The ruggedness and tranquillity of the landscape guarantees a perfect escape from it all. The stunning scenery, unspoilt landscape and relaxed way of life ensures that West Cork is truly a place apart. This is an exceptional Irish self-catering cottage.

Trag Retreat is a truly stunning self-catering cottage in west Cork, with every luxury and amenity thought of to make a very relaxing holiday retreat. There is a large master bedroom with an ensuite on the ground floor and a twin and double on the first floor, with an additional bathroom.
There is a sitting room with widescreen sattelite television, DVD and PlayStation - perfect for rainy days! The furniture and furnishings are tasteful and this 18th century house was fully modernised in 2005. The modern kitchen is perfectly appointed with everything you might need on your self-catering holiday - and a lot more beside! There is a separate utility room.
The back garden is fully enclosed and so very safe for children to play in. A great feature is the elevated hot tub which has the most gorgeous views over the sea.
