Glenveagh National Park is just a 10 minute drive away. The park offers many beautiful walks and varied, extensive gardens attracting all sorts of wildlife. For those interested in physical activities there are many quality golf courses and a range of stunning golden sandy beaches nearby where you can try surfing and horseriding. There are also ample hill walking opportunities and scenic drives.
For shopping, cultural activities and wining and dining the large town of Letterkenny is only 10 minutes drive away. The area is dotted with many towns and villages where you'll find friendly pubs offering a warm Irish welcome, superb homecooked food, and traditional music. Mill Cottage is a really fabulous place for a couple to experience the wonderful north west coast of Ireland.

The cottage has been lovingly restored, in the traditional style and sympathetically furnished with beautiful hand made pine cupboards and other furniture. It is kept cosy with a wood burning stove and oil fired central heating while an electric shower provides ample hot water. The snug mezzanine bedroom overlooks the kitchen/sitting room, a delightful place to rest your head after a day's exploring. This beautifully restored mill cottage is situated in beautiful landscaped grounds. Mill Cottage makes a wonderful romantic holiday in gorgeous Donegal.
