The Pump House is the only unit we rent in our farm, so you will experience the unique sensation of having the whole place to yourself! Make the most of it! Take time out and relax in the cosiness of the cottage. Logs are provided for the stove throughout your stay so you can enjoy a real fire anytime you like. There are also a number of books, games and films available for you to enjoy, as well as a music centre, television and DVD player. If you feel more energetic, go for a long stroll through our fields and along the river Barrow. Take time to admire the many mature trees and shrubbery around you, spot the wildlife and hear the birdsong. You can also enjoy a romantic boat trip or try your hand at fishing. Fishing, boating, walking or just unwind. Do as little or as much as you choose…

Accommodation:
The cottage is tastefully decorated throughout, bright and spacious, with the guests' comfort and relaxation in mind.The extra large bed in the bedroom has a high quality zip and link mattress, which can transform it into two single beds. There is also room for a fold out bed or cot. In the loft over the kitchen there is a double futon where two more adults or older children can sleep. In the bathroom, you can choose between an energising shower or a deeply relaxing bubble bath - with room enough for two! - and enjoy the comfort of a heated floor, large, warm towels and even your own bathrobe. Crisp cotton sheets, fluffy pillows, snug duvets, combined with fresh air and exercise, will ensure you have a peaceful night sleep!
Directions:
From Athy town centre, take the R417 towards Monasterevin. After about 1km take a left turn immediately after the Texaco petrol station. Drive about 50 metres until you see in front of you white gate posts. Go through the gate, drive down a long avenue and you will find The Pump House at the end.
What's included:
Heating and electricity charges are all included in the rate, as well as bedlinen and bath towels. A continental breakfast welcome pack is offered to all our guests (bread, butter, milk, tea, coffee and sugar). Home made meals and babysitting services available on request. Pets by previous arrangement only. We would be happy to facilitate any special requests for our guests - flowers or champagne for special occasions, restaurant reservations, baby equipment, etc. All you have to do is ask!

Changeover day is flexible. Guests are asked to vacate by 12 noon and new guests are invited from 4 p.m. Weekend or short breaks are available - nightly rate €100, minimum stay 2 nights. Discounts will always be given for stays of two weeks or over.
