The cottage has spacious sitting areas (55m²) with a south-facing sunroom. These include TV/DVD player, stereo and WI-FI internet for your enjoyment. There is a well-equipped kitchen. Outside is perfect for BBQ-ing with patio and garden furniture. The 4 bedrooms with super king-size pocket-sprung beds (adjustable to 8 singles/4 doubles). One downstairs bedroom/bathroom is designed for those with mobility difficulties (ITB Accessibility Scheme Grade 3). There is also an entrance ramp. The cottage comes complete with secure parking and an enclosed garden
Glenboy is the perfect base for fishing, walking, cycling, golfing, horse-riding and exploring the historic and cultural sites in the area and a perfect base for day trips to the West, North West and Northern Ireland.
10 minutes walk to Oldcastle for pubs, restaurants, shops, playground, library, gym, pitch & putt, horse-riding, etc. 15 minutes drive to lakes such as Sheelin & Ramor etc, Fore Abbey, Loughrew megalithic tombs, Woodfield Open Farm, Cavan County Museum etc. An array of arts, music and heritage events & festivals to be found in the immediate area. Hosts on-site.

Designed to accommodate 8 in comfort Glenboy includes spacious sitting areas (55m²) with south-facing sunroom, 4 large bedrooms carefully selected furnishings relaxing place to explore the surrounding counryside or as a place for a gathering of family or friends.
Directions:
Glenboy is less than 1km from Oldcastle on the R154 (off the N3).
Oldcastle is located on the border of Meath and Cavan 90 minutes drive from Dublin.
From Dublin take the Junction 6 exit (signposted for Cavan) and follow the N3 to Kells.
From Belfast follow the M1 to Dundalk and take N52 to Kells.
What's included:
Underfloor heating (metred and charged at cost). Free wood for wood burning stove. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets but Rainbow Farm (5 minutes walk from accommodation) provides a kennel service. 100% brushed Egyptian cotton bedlinen, towels included in rental price. Baby-sitting, on-site catering, booking of airport pick-up & organic food by arrangement.
